Dahlia Lithwick is a Senior Editor at Slate, where she has written the “Supreme Court Dispatches” and “Jurisprudence” columns since 1999 and has hosted the Amicus podcast since 2014. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Harper’s, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The New Republic, and Commentary, and she has appeared on CNN, ABC, The Colbert Report, the Daily Show, and The Rachel Maddow Show. A lawyer by training, Lithwick has been praised for her ability to distill complex legal issues for a broad audience without abandoning important nuance. In recognition of her accomplishments as a journalist, she has been awarded the 2018 Hillman Prize for Opinion & Analysis Journalism, the 2017 Golden Pen Award from the Legal Writing Institute, and a 2013 National Magazine Award.
